Parsing the intended markets for Dell's ever-shifting in-house brand names requires a bit of tea-leaf reading, although it's been easier of late, with the company stripping down its consumer brands to just the Inspiron and XPS lines. Now the company is adding a new line between the budget Inspiron and the high-end XPS. The new Studio line, as personified by the $1,250 15-inch Studio 15, has the same tapered shape, slot-loading optical drive, and rounded hinge as the Dell XPS M1530, but a similarly configured Studio system costs roughly $300 less than a similarly outfitted XPS.

My Lines About This Phone :

 The Nokia Astound is a beautifully designed and affordable smartphone for T-Mobile, but there are other budget-friendly options available with better performance and that are easier to use.

Usablity :

One of the features that T-Mobile has added to the C7 is the portrait querty on-screen keyboard. Users have been requesting this feature on the C7 since it was released, since it is generally expected to be available on modern smartphones. However, we found the keyboard to be very difficult to type on when compared to competitors such as Android and iOS. The keys are very narrow and small and prove to be difficult targets to tap. Haptic feedback is enabled by default, which is nice to have, but we found the keyboard to be more frustrating than anything and ended up switching to the T9 layout at times. If you turn the phone into landscape mode, the full keyboard becomes Swype enabled so typing in that orientation can be easier. Swype worked as expected, tracing ones finger across the keyboard to type produced generally accurate results.

Samsung Galaxy S II

Overview

Samsung comes up with their new Android product Samsung Galaxy SII with  4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen. It is thinner, lighter, and faster than the Galaxy S II that preceded it, while garnishing Android 2.3.3 with a set of TouchWiz customizations that might actually enhance, rather than hinder, the user experience. As such, the Galaxy S II earns Samsung full marks for ambition, but does this slinky new smartphone live up to its interstellar hype? The answer, as always, can be found after the break.The Samsung Galaxy S II is 8.49mm (0.33 inches) thick. We whipped out a ruler and checked, it's true. Admittedly, that measurement expands a little at the handset's bottom, where a curvy bump houses its loudspeaker, and around the camera compartment, which protrudes ever so slightly from the rest of the body, but even at its thickest point, this phone doesn't allow itself to go beyond the 1cm mark. Given the veritable spec sheet overload that Samsung has included within the Galaxy S II, we consider its thin profile a stunning feat of engineering. In terms of the pursuit of the absolute slimmest device, NEC's MEDIAS N-04C is still the champ at 7.7mm, but global audiences should feel comfortable in replacing the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, which measures 8.7mm at its thinnest point, with the Galaxy S II for their benchmark slim device.

Review

Nokia N8 is the New Nokia production in N-Series with 12 MP camera and launched to give compitition to other market leaders of Smartphone i.e Apple, Android, etc. Nokia N8 is a smartphone with all the words and Nokia has begun shipping its new phone ‘smart’, the Nokia N8. The Finnish corporation recently announced it would delay the start of shipments of the Nokia N8 from late September to October. At first, the phone would be unveiled in April this year. Thus, relating to the company, shoppers who have ordered the Nokia N8 in the Nokia store will be the earliest to get it. Still, the availability of the smartphones vary depending on country and operator. The company claims the Nokia N8 to be totally readily available “in the coming weeks”. This Nokia N8 device is the latest N-Series to use the ‘software’ Symbian. The Nokia N8 stands out by its 12-mega-pixel camera. Nokia N8 also has a 3.5-inch AMOLED screen. In the second quarter of 2010 Nokia earned 40.2% less than the similar period last year.

A Brief Glance

It is provided in multicolours by company for costumers satisfaction.  The anodized aluminum body comes with a nice finish, and the phone . Nokia have done a great job with the body- making it scratch less. In case the surface does get scratched, just wipe it with a cloth, and the scratch disappears. The 3.5 inch screen is accompanied by one single button on the front panel- the Menu one. Well, there is a front facing video call camera, but that is safely hidden away from sight. One side panel has the volume control, the camera and the screen lock buttons, while the other side has the sim-slot as well as the slot for the memory card, The microUSB port is also on this side. The rear panel has a monster 12 MP camera, and just to fit the camera in, Nokia had to raise the area around the camera just a little bit. What this does is open the camera to a risk of scratches when you place it on the table or even keep it in the pocket with other stuff like keys and pens.

HTC has been producing some great Android smartphones, and their latest flagship model is the HTC Sensation, which comes with a range of impressive specifications, we recently showed you some hands on photos of the new HTC Sensation, and have been testing it out over the last 10 days, so its time to let you guys know what we thought about the HTC Sensation.


The first thing you notice about the HTC Sensation is the size of the device, it features a large 4.3 inch qHD display. so the handset has a similar size to the Samsung Galaxy S II we reviewed recently and also features very similar specifications.

If You want to be entertained like never before it is perfect phone for you. On-demand movies look great with a stunning qHD display, and they sound crystal clear with Hi-Fi audio technology. The HTC Sensation also includes an immersive HTC Sense experience making this phone easy-to-use and a top entertainer. In our review of the Galaxy S II, we opined that though its display was of superlative quality, its pixel density left a little something to be desired. The Sensation gives us that extra flourish with a 960 x 540 resolution  on a Super LCD screen that fails to match the vivid output or viewing angles of its Super AMOLED Plus competitor, but at least maintains a similarly hyperbolic naming scheme.  The camera and gallery apps benefit from having more dots to display your compositions and resulting images.

Video is where the second big advantage of qHD emerges. 960 x 540 pixels provide a native 16:9 screen ratio and thereby sends those pesky black bars off into oblivion. You'll be able to watch both content you've downloaded and recorded yourself in full screen without resorting to any compromises such as zooming the picture in and cutting off the widest portions. That'll help keep your content optimized for a vast range of desktop monitors and the great majority of HDTVs. Small considerations, perhaps, but good to have nonetheless.
